Congratulations to our Upper Sixth students who have received some excellent offers from US universities in the early rounds, and from other international universities.
We are delighted that to date, our students have received many offers from top US institutions. These include Columbia, Dartmouth, Boston College, University of Pennsylvania, Brown, University of Chicago, NYU, Santa Clara, Northwestern, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Northeastern, University of Southern California, Georgetown and Case Western.
Sevenoaks students have also received offers from other leading universities, including Purdue, University of Michigan, Penn State, University of Virginia, CU Boulder, UW Madison, UNC Chapel Hill, Ohio State, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and University of Massachusetts. Top liberal arts colleges have also featured, including Amherst and Bates.
We are also very pleased that our student athletes have received some superb offers, with one student going to Stanford for hockey, one to Bates for swimming and another to Southern Wesleyan University for golf.
International offers to our Upper Sixth have been made by the University of Toronto and McGill University in Canada, including many with scholarships. Our students have also received offers from the Italian universities Politecnico di Milano and Bocconi University, including for the Bocconi Dual Degree with HEC in France. Further offers have been made from Atelier de Sèvres in France, IE University in Spain, Vilnius University in Lithuania and Hong Kong University, with many more outcomes yet to be released. For the US, we will know the outcomes from the Regular cycle in early April.
Our Higher Education department strives to help students find the right university place for them – a place where they will thrive – and for many students at Sevenoaks, that place will be outside the UK.
We are thrilled for our Upper Sixth students on these tremendous early offers and congratulate the entire US application cohort on their hard work and stamina in making their applications.
