On the 25 November the music department welcomed back our first live Big Gig in the Pamoja Hall since the beginning of the pandemic!
We were treated to a variety of different acts, including a saxophone quartet, talented solo singers, a capella/barbershop groups and bands from across the school. We enjoyed hearing jazz music, contemporary songs, musical theatre, original music written by students, and even an arrangement of the Wallace and Gromit theme tune for four saxophones.
This year the event was raising money for FareShare UK, a charity helping to fight food shortage and waste, with over £1,000 raised in ticket sales alone
Many thanks to Mr Harvey, Mr Palmer, our FOH students, compère, performers and everyone who helped to make the night such a great success.
