INDOOR ATHLETICS
At the Lee Valley Indoor Schools Cup:
- Inter boys finished 18th overall out of 60 school entries.
- Inter girls finished third overall in the final. Matilda Murray broke two championship records in the 60m hurdles set in 2016 (9.16 seconds) and long jump set in 2017 (5.16m). Well done to Matilda Murray, Tiffany Oyewale, Judith Chevalier, Naavah Kristiansson, Hana Maeda and Scarlett Fletcher
BASKETBALL
The girls’ U18 team won their first match of the season 41 – 37 against TASIS.
The U18 boys won the CIT Tournament at the Noth School, beating John Fisher School in the final.
FENCING
At the Kent Schools Championships:
- Chloe Tang, Bronze in senior girl’s sabre
- Nysha Shahril Ridza, Bronze in senior girl’s foil
Daniel Hancock won silver at the Youth Series in Manchester in the Under 14 Sabre.
FOOTBALL
The boys’ 1st XI beat Worth on penalties to move into the quarter finals of the Independent Schools Football Association shield.
Sofia Touboul has been invited to the ISFA U18 Girls National Representative Camp at St George’s Park. The U18 team will play two matches against TGK and English Colleges.
The girls’ 1st XI beat St John’s Leatherhead 2-0 in the ISFA Trophy, they now move into the last 16 in the country.
The boys’ 1st XI lost to Hampton School in the last 16 of the ISFA (Boodles) Cup. They are in the quarter finals of the ISFA Shield and the Kent Cup.
HOCKEY
The boys’ U18s represented Kent at the regional indoor finals at St George’s Weybridge. They lost to the hosts, drew with Eastbourne and beat St Lawrence 2 – 1, to finish fifth.
The girls U18 indoor team finished second at the regional finals. Having beaten Ardingly and Cranleigh in the group, they beat Epsom in the semi-final before losing in the final play of the game to Brighton.
The U16 girls indoor reached the semi-finals of the National Indoor Championships in Repton. They topped their group, beating the Grammar School at Leeds, Surbiton High School and drawing with St Edwards VI Southampton, before losing 1-3 to the eventual champions in the semi-final.
NETBALL
All three teams qualified for the county finals day through the preliminary rounds. The U16s will now move through to the regional finals, but the U14s and U18s lost out narrowly on qualification.
SHOOTING
At the British Schools Championships (Winter Open):
- Individual: 1st – Isabel Wen – 391.23, 4th – Tracy Wang – 388.12

SQUASH
In the National Schools Competition:
- KS3 Girls are through to the regional plate.
- KS4 Girls are through to the regional cup.
- KS5 Girls are through to the regional cup.
SWIMMING
At the London Schools Sports Association Swimming Championships, held at ACS Cobham, Sevenoaks swimmers won 20 individual medals, 7 relay medals and the inter boys were overall winners.
TENNIS
The U18 girls have qualified for the regional finals of the Senior Students national competition by beating Sutton Valence, Kings College Wimbledon and Bromley High.
Both the boys U18s and girls U18s won the South East league in the LTA Youth Schools competition.
