Indoor Athletics

At the Lee Valley Indoor Schools Cup:

  • Inter girls finished second in B final
  • Junior girls have qualified for the A final
  • Junior boys have qualified for the B final

The boys’ U19 team have secured top spot in the LISBA league, as they move into the play-offs.

Kent County age group squad selection 2024/25

  • U18 Development – Victoria Kern

Cross country

The senior, inter and junior girls’ teams raced at the English Schools regional round, having qualified through the Kent round. The inter girls qualified for the national finals in Leeds in December.

Huge congratulations to all that took part in the Junior Knole Run. The event was our largest ever with over 500 runners competing. Sevenoaks teams did well with the girls finishing fourth and the boys finishing twentieth overall. Special congratulations to Eva Vitorino Hiietamm finished second in the Junior Knole Run.

Fencing

Daniel Hancock won a bronze at the Kent Senior Schools Championships Men’s 16U sabre. He has also been invited to join the team representing the South-East region sabre team at the Cadet Winton Cup championships in Birmingham in December.

Football

The boys’ 1st XI beat Haberdashers’ Elstree School 3 – 2 in the fourth round of the Boodles U18 ISFA Cup, they move into the last 16 in the country.

The boys’ 1st XI beat Sir Roger Manwood’s School 3 -1 in the Kent Cup.

Hockey

The U12A girls won the Kent county tournament.

Summer Knight-Thompson has been recruited by Stanford University, to be part of their hockey programme.

The girls’ U16 indoor team won the regional finals and will now take part in the national finals. They beat Brighton 1-0, St George’s 2-1, Epsom 3-2 and St George’s in a penalty shootout.

The boys’ U18 indoor team got to the final of the county championships and have qualified for the regional round of the England Hockey Super 6 School’s Championships.

The girls U16s beat Lancing College 3-1 in the T2 plater competition, regional round.

The girls’ U13A team won the Kent Tier 1 Tournament.

Netball 

Lara Bailey has been selected for the U19 London Pulse NPL Power squad for 2024/25.

Ella Christopherson has been selected for the U19 London Pulse NPL squad for 2024/25.

Shooting

At the English Schools Long Range Championships:

  • Rafe Wormsley, 8th
  • Isable Wen, 12th
  • Aryana Mahdavi Ardestani, 16th
  • Tracy Wang, 22nd
  • Jaimon Abson, 24th
  • Sasha Woodruff, 42nd

Rafe Wormsley and Isabel Wen finished second in the Senior Pairs.

Swimming

At the ESSA National Schools Finals in Birmingham. The inter boys finished 10th, and the senior boys finished 13th in the Medley relay.

Table Tennis

The boys’ U13 team won the team county championships and move through to the regional rounds.

The boys’ U16A team finished third and the U16B team finished fourth in the Kent Team Tournament.

Volleyball

The girls U15A and U15B teams both beat ACS Cobham 2-1 and 3-0.

The girls’ U15 team won the Kent U15 Invitational Tournament.

OS news

Coco Streets has been appointed vice-captain of the Kent Women’s Cricket Team.
