Sporting highlights

Fantastic news in swimming, golf, hockey and rugby.

Golf

Tom Day (L6) came third in the individual competition at Smarden Bell out of 45 players, beaten only by two England under 16 players. The team came fifth out of nine in the Regional Cup Competition at the same event.

Hockey

Our U16A finished second at the Tier 3 county tournament. They now progress to the regional rounds.

The 1st XI won versus Eastbourne and progress to round two of the Tier 2 national competition.

We hosted a Sevenoaks U13 tournament involving several local prep schools. Our U13As won the tournament after an exciting sudden death penalty strokes versus Holmewood House. Our U12As finished 13th and U13B finished 16th.

Our U15As won versus Downlands in the first round of the national cup competition.

Swimming

Eva Okaro (Y10) has been selected for the Podium Potential squad for British Swimming which comprises athletes whose performances indicate they have realistic capabilities for making the Olympic team in 2024 and medal potential at those Games or in 2028.
