Indoor Athletics

Brianna Kuranga, Eloise Volant, Mary Henderson and Saskia Taylor competed in the Indoor Schools Cup at Lee Valley Stadium. They have qualified in fourth place and progress through to regional final, which takes place later this month. We wish them the best of luck.

Cross Country

Eva Vitorino Hiietamm won the U13 Somerhill regional cross country race, helping the Sevenoaks team to finish third.

Equestrian

Caitlin Miller competed in a National Schools’ Equestrian Association competition. She finished eighth out of 77 in the 80/85cm show jumping class which qualifies her for the national plate final at Addington.

Football

Sophie Gildemeister, Sofia Brown, Poppy Crosthwaithe, Maya Goodrich, Sophia Touboul and Megan Bello Mendoza all attended the U18 Independent Schools Football Association trail at Bradfield College. Sophia Touboul and Megan Bello Mendoza have been put forwards to the final trial in Cambridge in October.

The 1st XI boys beat Tonbridge 2-1 in the first game of the B249 trophy.

The girls’ 1st XI beat Lancing College 6-0 in Round 1 of the ISFA Cup.

The boys’ 1st XI beat Saint George’s CofE School 7-2 in Round 1 of the Kent Cup.

Hockey 

The 2nd XI narrowly lost 3-4 to Cranbrook School 1st XI in the U18 Tier 2 Round 1.

The 1st XI beat Ipswich School 4-1 in the U18 Tier 1.

The U16As beat Kent College 7-0 in Round 1 of the Tier 2.

The U13A team and the U12A met each other in the final of the Sevenoaks Hockey Tournament. An incredible achievement for both teams considering the number of schools that took part.

The U13A team and the U12A team also reached the final of the Danes Hill Tournament.

Netball

Kent selection:

  • Kent Potentials – Evie Soper.
  • Kent Development – Alexa Amesimeku, Milly Hunter, Emily Hancock, Alice Court and Victoria Tarasheva

The 1st team have qualified for the county finals day, after finishing joint top of their pool in the qualifying rounds.

Road running

Hana Maeda and Hugo Maeda took part in the Run Kent race through Tonbridge. Hana won the 5k race and Hugo came third from 310 runners in the 10k race.

Rugby 

The U16A XV and 1st XV played Hayes School under lights at Dartford Valley Stadium. This was an excellent occasion with plenty of supporters and Od Sennockians watching.

Shooting

Isabel Wen has been selected to join the British Shooting Rifle Pathway for 2024/25, as part of the Development South Squad.

Squash

Nicole Slowinski has been selected for the U13 Kent Squash team.
