Sevenoaks Summer Programmes 2024

This July, we welcomed nearly 400 students from 65 different countries to Sevenoaks School Summer Programmes, for a month of learning new skills, forging friendships and exploring the UK.

On our Summer Programme, students engaged in various enriching modules led by Sevenoaks teachers. Our popular offerings included Critical Thinking, Social Leadership, Creativity, and Digital Skills. This year, we explored the ethical use of AI, social campaigns, film making and robotics. We also enjoyed welcoming our largest cohort of English learners so far to the English Language Course.

In the afternoons students had full use of our wonderful sporting and creative facilities for their co-curricular activities. Sessions of art, improvisation and debate, tennis, martial arts, football, cooking, survival skills and volleyball gave students the opportunity to hone their skills with professional coaches and Sevenoaks alumni.

In addition to our Summer Programme and English Language Course, 2024 marked the introduction of the Music Programme. Written and delivered by our Music department, this course combined practical and academic musicianship in composition, performance, history and analysis modules.

Overall, the Sevenoaks School Summer Programmes offered a fast-paced, fun-packed glimpse into life at our school, from boarding and lessons to exploring UK highlights on excursion days. Laura, one of our 2024 students said ‘If I could, I would go back to do everything again. It was the best experience of my life, and I will miss everything’.

We’ve been thrilled to host this year’s cohort and look forward to meeting our 2025 applicants when applications open in the autumn!
