UK University Applications Evening

Sevenoaks School invites Lower Sixth Sevenoaks students, their parents, and local schools to an evening with Directors of Admissions from four leading UK universities: Bath, East Anglia, Exeter, and St Andrews.

• Katherine Lloyd-Clark, Associate Director (Student Access, Recruitment & Admissions), University of Exeter

Our speakers will provide expert guidance on:

• Choosing the right course and making your university application stand out.
• Navigating the changing landscape of higher education and graduate employment.
• Crafting a compelling personal statement with top tips and research strategies.
• Understanding degree structures, including placements, and the differences between the Scottish and English systems.

Oxford and Cambridge Information Evening

Wednesday 4 June 2025, 19:30-20:30 Pamoja Hall, Sevenoaks School

This event hosted by Sevenoaks School will cover everything you need to know about making an application to either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge. Lower Sixth Sevenoaks students and their parents, and local schools are invited to this evening.

A presentation on the application process will be given by Mike Nicholson, Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Participation at the University of Cambridge, and previously Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach at the University of Oxford (2006-2014).
