We were delighted to host the Knight Frank Schools Triathlon on Sunday 14 May.

We welcomed 718 triathletes from 17 local prep and primary schools who raised an incredible £93,000 for the charity Restless Development. In teams of four, the pupils aged 8-12 swam, cycled and ran a combined distance of over 1337km: the distance from London to Milan!

The triathlon was part of a national series organised by global youth charity Restless Development. This year, more than 7500 pupils around the UK will be taking part to raise over £950k; which will support more than 80 charities. Thanks to event sponsor Knight Frank, the much-needed funds raised will go directly to charity.

Sally Walmsley, our Deputy Head Co-curriculum, said: ‘It was awe-inspiring to welcome so much young sporting talent and enthusiasm to Sevenoaks School for the Schools Triathlon. All the participants displayed exceptional team work and resilience, supporting and encouraging each other throughout the day. Our student volunteers enjoyed working with such delightful and enthusiastic triathletes, and we were honoured to host the event.’

Well done to all who took part and a special thank you to our staff and student volunteers and Sennocke Centre staff for all their hard work to make this such a success.
