Holiday Activity Programme Sevenoaks (HAPS)

HAPS enables pupils from local primary schools who are highly engaged in Art, Drama, Maths, Music, Science, Sport and Technology to develop their knowledge, skills and aptitudes in these subject areas. Specially designed courses are run by Sevenoaks School teachers.

Join us for a educational voyage ‘Around the World’, the theme for 2025!

The 3-day programme will run from Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21 August.

The cost will be £90 for the three days which includes t-shirt, snack, and lunch every day. For PP and FSM children, please email partnerships@sevenoaksschool.org.

Year 4 Art
19 – 21 August

Cost: £90 for 3 days

The Art programme is a perfect opportunity for participants to explore approaches to manipulating materials through experiment, observation and reference to artists and cultures from around the world.

Drama

Maths

Year 5 Maths
19 – 21 August

Cost: £90 for 3 days

The three days are designed for able Year 5 pupils of Mathematics and are intended to extend and enrich their knowledge and understanding. The week’s theme will link to Around the World in 80 Games. Through hands-on, practical projects, participants will take part in various Maths challenges, activities and trails that blend fun and learning together whilst working alongside like-minded children and Maths specialists!

Cost: £90 for 3 days

The Music Summer School is an opportunity to explore music and performance skills through singing and instrumental work. The three days will consist of workshops and performances, exploring music from around the world, working with Music specialists and like-minded children.

Science

Year 4 Science
19 – 21 August

Cost: £90 for 3 days

The three days will be filled with activities designed to extend and enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of science. We will explore the theme of Around the World through activities focusing on modes of transport, how animals have adapted to different environments, and how science is being applied to tackle challenges of global significance.

Year 5 Technology
19 – 21 August

Cost: £90 for 3 days

Embark on an exciting summer technology adventure for Year 5 students, where creativity meets innovation! Through hands-on projects, students will design and build robotic solutions, gain confidence in coding and design, and sharpen their problem-solving skills—preparing to innovate like inventors shaping technology across the globe.
