The Senior Knole Run 2025 has completed.
The next Senior Knole Run will take place in 2026 and will again include and U15 boys and girls race in addition to the senior boys and girls races. If you have any enquiries, please email knolerun@sevenoaksschool.org.
Teams
For the senior race, runners must be in full time secondary education on the date of the race and should be in Year 11 or above. The U15 races are for students in Year 9 and 10.
The first four runners in each team of six will score.

The course
The start is a short distance down the valley to the right of the entrance to Knole Park. The course is a mixture of hill and flat, grass and woodland tracks; some sections are likely to be muddy. Spikes/studs will usually be the most appropriate footwear although pupils should bring trainers as well so as to select the most appropriate footwear on the day.
The girls’ course is one lap of 5km (3.1 miles). The senior boys’ course is two laps totalling 9.4km (5.8 miles). This year, the U15 inter boys and inter girls will race the senior girls’ course.
All teams will need to go through the gate at the back of the track and not the main entrance as in previous years – there will be stewards on the day to help direct runners.
Girls’ teams should assemble near the start at 2.10pm for their race to start at 2.20pm. Boys’ teams should assemble near the start immediately after the girls’ start (2.20pm) in order for the inter boys’ race to start at 2:30pm, and the senior boys at 2.40pm. A warning siren will sound five minutes before each race starts.
Vest numbers contain a chip, so runners must run over the mats at the start and finish to ensure their chip is recorded. The course will be marked by staff, pupils, flags and tape.

Tea and RESULTS
Tea will be served from 3:30pm on The Flat in the middle of the school.
