IB Revision Courses
IB Revision Courses
Every year, our IB revision and review courses offer outstanding and reliable assistance to students. The revision courses support those revising for their IB Diploma exams, while the review courses provide a structured review of the content and skills covered during the first year of IB Diploma studies. We also offer a pre-IB Maths course for Year 11 students who will be embarking on the IB Mathematics courses.

Sevenoaks and the IB
Sevenoaks has been teaching and administering the IB since the 1970s, with over 400 students on the IB Diploma Programme every year. The school can draw on a wealth of experience from teaching staff who are fully familiar with the syllabuses and the academic standards required to achieve success in the IB Diploma.
Unsurprisingly, therefore, we are confident that those joining our revision courses will receive the very best teaching and preparation for their IB exams.
Our Teaching Approach
Our courses are both for those students looking to assure themselves of the top grades and for students who are struggling with the IB.
Where possible, classes are setted. Our teachers ensure students are fully aware of the necessary ground to cover to be successful in the final exams, focussing on the core content of courses. Students receive intensive tuition in their chosen subject with a carefully structured and organised schedule supported by suitable written and visual resources to help prepare for exams.
Our teachers seek to enter a dialogue with students over what topics or skills they wish to focus on, and take this into account, while still aiming to cover as much of the core course as possible.
Our teachers help students improve their exam techniques to ensure they develop the necessary skills to answer IB exam questions successfully. Students will receive advice on how best to revise for their forthcoming exams.
Teaching is conducted in groups of 10 students or fewer at the school, in comfortable well-equipped classrooms. Our courses are taken by both Sevenoaks students and external students alike, with students arriving from all over the world.
