Sporting highlights

Athletics 

Tom Hobbs finished third in the ESAA National combined events championships, securing 4892 points with a PB in the shot and a 4:45 1500m. This performance earns him an England vest, where he will compete in Wales in December.  

Badminton

Max Whitby-Smith played in the Badminton England Kent tournament in Gillingham. After several gruelling matches against the county’s best badminton players, Max and his partner are the champions of the boys’ U16 doubles event.

Football

Bethan Thomas has been selected for the ISFA representative U16 squad for the upcoming season, with future training camps in Cambridge and at St Georges Park before International matches versus ESFA and Wales. 

Sailing

Izzy Johnson went to Cork to compete at the Topper Worlds against 190 boats. She came 17th overall (5th British boat). Izzy also competed at the Firefly Nationals which is an adult class, earning the Deben Ladies Plate for the Top Women helm overall.

Old Sennockian

Nearly 40 Old Sennockians returned to Sevenoaks to play a touch rugby tournament. The majority of them then watched the school’s 1st XV put in a fantastic performance and the OS were in full voice to help the boys gain the victory.
