HM Lord-Lieutenant’s Meritorious Service Award

Mr Mavroleon has been inspiring our CCF cadets with extra weekly sessions developing teams to compete in shooting , Military Skills and the drill squad which performs ceremonial duties at parades and the display on Founder’s Day. Our CCF have had particular success in recent years, becoming HQ SE CADSAAM Champions, HQ South East Military Skills competition winners two consecutive years and earning Gold standard at the national Cambrian competition.

These awards are intended to supplement Honours bestowed by His Majesty the King in the New Year and Birthday Hours Lists and rank after them in precedence. The award is open to all serving members of the RNR, RMR, Army Reserve, RAF Reserves and to adult members of the CCF, SCC, ACF and RAF Air Cadets and Civilians (eg Civil & Crown Servants) who are employed in direct support of the Reserve Forces and Cadets and recognises exceptional service.
