At Sevenoaks School equity, diversity and inclusion are at the very heart of our culture. We want every member of our community to feel valued and supported.
We celebrate the power and beauty of diversity, in all its forms, and seek to promote understanding and respect whilst meeting each individual’s needs through an equitable approach to school life.
A global and progressive outlook
We are proud to be a British school with a global and progressive outlook. Our student body is truly diverse with over 70 nationalities and a variety of faiths and beliefs represented. We welcome applications to both our student and staff body from persons from all backgrounds and nationalities to our all-gender environment. Throughout the application process and within school community we commit to making reasonable adjustments to ensure that the characteristics enshrined under the Equality Act 2010 are protected.
We stand against discrimination of any kind and encourage all members of our community to be kind and understanding in all their interactions within and beyond our school environment.

At Sevenoaks we believe that we share strikingly similar needs but have different requirements in order for them to be met. We are committed to understanding those requirements and taking actions which allow each person to flourish. Our aim is for Sevenoaks students and staff to act as role models of equity, diversity and inclusion and agents of positive change both in our community and in their lives outside of it.
Sevenoaks is known for its international-mindedness, which is embedded throughout our curriculum and is a characteristic of the IB Diploma learner profile.
